A true PNW shoot

Haley and I knew each other from middle school so when she reached out for a session for her and her husband Kyle I was so excited!!! Also, I had never shot at Lake Cushman before so I knew we were going to have fun.

Okay, so we get to Lake Cushman and it's breezy, cloudy and chilly but no biggie. That's Washington. Jokingly Haley and I said something along the line of like, "bet it rains!" and honestly I am never mad at rain during a session, because it can be really playful or sexy.

After about 30 minutes into our session it POURED. Like not a cute little romantic drizzle, but a raining sideways and immediately soaked type rain. Which honestly, we kind of deserved that for putting it out into the universe in the first place.

But we made the best of it and I love these photos from Haley and Kyle's session! A little bit of sun, some cloudy moments and then of course in true Washington fashion - lots and lots of rain.
